Hello!

My name is Thizbe :)

My journey becoming an electrologist started as a client in the year 2021. As a trans woman, I had always heard that Electrolysis was the only permeant hair removal method. And that that Laser wasn't permanent, I had no idea what to believe.

Although I heard of more trans-friendly clinics in Vancouver, I grew up in Surrey, and so I reached out to a clinic closest to my home. Although I was the perfect candidate for Laser Hair Removal, due to my thick dark hair and pale skin. I was not recommended Laser, which should usually be done for trans women prior to Electrolysis. That, along with some misgendering and overtreatment, My upper lip was scarred, and my courage was crushed, I didn't know who to trust or what to do.

Between 2021 and 2024, I had a couple gender affirming surgeries, which required electrolysis.

After years of hearing about Angelina on Commercial Dr. I finally worked up the courage to meet her. She let me know about the process of permanent hair removal using both Laser for dark hairs, and Electrolysis for light hairs. After discussing my interest in providing safe and inclusive hair removal for other trans people like me. Angelina recruited me as her student and became my practicum instructor for certification.

My goal is to help and support people during a treatment that is vulnerable and personal.

My priority is to balance the safety, effectiveness, inclusivity, and comfortability of your permanent hair removal electrolysis treatment.

Thank you for reading this, It will be edited and refined in the future :)
